Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal. Hairs are removed from the root. People who receive waxing procedures on a regular basis have noticed that the regrowth becomes less after a period of time, as some of the hairs will not grow back. It can be performed on almost any area of the body. At Embellish Beauty we offer both strip wax and hot wax, we found some people prefer one to the other so we decided to offer both! If you love hot wax please note we only use hot wax for the intimate areas.
Please ensure that there is sufficient hair growth of 3-4 weeks before coming in for your treatment.

Hot Wax
Strip Wax- this is the most commonly used wax and is very effective at removing the finer body hair from large areas, such as the legs and arms. The wax is applied and then removed quickly and firmly with a paper strip. The wax does not set but remains sticky, so when removed takes a layer of dead skin cells with it, leaving you with silky smooth exfoliated skin.
Hot wax is typically thicker in the pot and is applied thickly too. Hot wax is very suitable for waxing sensitive areas or thicker hair. Which is why it’s often the wax of choice for Bikini/Hollywood/Brazilian waxes. As the wax is left on the skin for up to a minute, the heat opens the pores and hair follicles allowing the hair to wax out much more easily. This should theoretically be less painful. It also has a stronger grip on the hairs, which makes it ideal for thicker more stubborn hair. It can even wax hairs of 1mm in length!

Do your brow hairs grow in so many different directions? Well this could be the treatment for you.
Brow lamination is essentially made to relax the brow hairs, allowing you to manipulate the hairs into your desired brow direction. It gives a silky, shiny and tamed brow.
Brow lamination treatment only needs to be done every 6 - 8 weeks and isn't recommended for anyone with sparse brow hairs as this will accentuate it.
If this is you we highly suggest a lamination and tint or signature brow sculpt to help fill in those brows for more density.
It is recommended not to wet your brows 24-48hrs after treatment and use a brow balm to maintain this brow look.

The signature brow sculpt is a combination of brow lamination and hybrid brow. This is perfect for a client that is after a longer lasting full glam brow look.
Hybrid brow also known as "brow dye" is the product we use that creates that dense stain. It is a lot like tint although is longer lasting and gives a dense brow look.
Lamination is recommended every 6-8 weeks with coming back between appointments for a hybrid brow treatment to refresh the dye again.

Gel Polish
Gel polish is applied like polish with a base coat, two coats of gel polish and a top coat. Between each coat of gel polish, the nails are cured under a UV light. This gel formula delivers a long lasting, flawless finish that’s dry in seconds and protects the natural nail. We do recommend having a Prescriptive Manicure or Pedicure with all gel treatments.
Gel polish is perfect for people with really strong nails naturally, or not wanting to maintain the up keep of having gels on there nails. We explain to our customers its a long lasting nail polish.

We will then shape your nails to your desire, followed by softening and removing cuticles, hand massage with a deep conditioning hand cream then finishing with a prescriptive base coat followed by perfectly polishing your nails with a colour of your choice.
This treatment is perfect for more of a pamper. Your treatment will begin with a prescriptive manicure. A masque is then applied followed by Thermal Heated Mitts for deeper penetration of oils and creams. To finish off your fingers will be perfectly polished.
