A LITTLE OF MY STORY
Back when people found you through the Yellow Pages or popped in for a patch test and a chat not through reels or hashtags.
Now I help beauty, holistic, and aesthetics pros who’ve been around before Instagram show up online with confidence, clarity, and content that actually connects.
I’m from the generation that survived dial-up internet, frosted lip gloss, and actual paper appointment books. We didn’t have content pillars, we had posters in the salon window. Marketing meant handing out flyers, not filming your facial with a ring light.
Now? I help salon owners and skin pros like you blend old school confidence with new school content without losing your sanity or your Saturdays.
behind the account
I’ve been in the beauty industry since I was 17 back when clients walked in off the street, word of mouth built your books, and the loudest thing in the salon was the landline.
Now I’m nearly 40, still running my own salon, raising a five year old, and realising that while the old ways still work... we can’t ignore the free marketing sat right in our hands.
Instagram isn’t just for influencers it’s for women like us too. Women who’ve been the go-to therapist for years, but now need to be seen online without it feeling like a full-time job.
I created this space for beauty and skin professionals who’ve been around since before the filters and hashtags. Who still get word of mouth, but know they need to show up just a little more online to stay ahead.
I’m not about overnight growth or 10k followers. I’m about helping you feel visible, confident and connected, using content that makes sense for where you’re at. No overwhelm. Just calm, clever content with a personal touch.
I’m here for slow, steady, organic growth that works around busy salon diaries and family life.
I’m here for women who’ve been in this industry for years, but just need a bit of help turning their offline magic into scroll stopping content.
And I’m here to remind you it’s never too late to learn the new stuff (and actually enjoy it).
What I'm
loving
Quiet mornings before the salon chaos kicks in.
Creating Canva carousels with a strong cup of tea.
Being able to have more time with my daughter.
Seeing women finally feel confident showing up online.
What I'm
learning
How to balance a busy salon, mum life and social media.
That done is better than perfect especially with content.
How to help other salon owners see their own magic on screen.
That it’s OK to not follow every trend, your way still works.
What I'm
not about
Hustling 24/7.
Trying to look like a 25 year-old influencer.
Forcing trends that don’t feel like you.
Pretending Instagram doesn’t matter (it does, a bit).
Copy-paste Canva with no heart or personality.
what I
believe
The best clients still come from word of mouth, online and off.
You don’t need 10k followers to make real money.
Beauty therapists and skin pros deserve to feel proud of their pages.
Social media should feel manageable not like another job.
Your experience before Instagram is what makes you powerful now.
